Byker

Say the the Chinese is only able to nuke one American city. Which American
city would be willing to be sacrificed in the name of defending the South
China Sea or Taiwan? Would the one you are living in be OK, Byker?
Like in other wars, we'll let them make the first move.city would be willing to be sacrificed in the name of defending the South
China Sea or Taiwan? Would the one you are living in be OK, Byker?
Did the South have any idea of what was in store for them when they
bombarded Ft. Sumter?:
In 1898, most Americans couldn't have given a shit about Cuba. All that
changed when the battleship Maine blew up.
Before Pearl Harbor, the U.S. was isolationist. After Pearl Harbor, we
couldn't exterminate the Japanese fast enough.
Currently we're just waiting for Iran to fire on an American warship:
Once L.A., Seattle, or San Francisco has been nuked, China will cease to
exist for the remainder of the 21st Century, and you know it.
The PLA seems to have ignored Confucius, who said, "Too much causes loss of
all."

Taken from a (probably deliberately) leaked Chinese source: 20 American
cities most likely to be targeted by Chinese ICBMs:
New York City, New York
Los Angeles, California
Chicago, Illinois
Houston, Texas
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Phoenix, Arizona
San Antonio, Texas
San Diego, California
San Francisco, California
San Jose, California
Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas
Austin, Texas
Seattle, Washington
Columbus, Ohio
Charlotte, North Carolina
Detroit, Michigan
El Paso, Texas
Memphis, Tennessee
Jacksonville, Florida
Phoenix, Arizona
By striking these cities with single 3 MT warheads, they'd kill about 20
million Americans, some 6% of our population. They'd basically cripple the
United States economically if they targeted these cities. We'd definitely be
"down" but NOT "out".
Since the Chinese lack enough warheads to take out all our missile silos and
military bases, apparently they prefer to hold our population centers
hostage. Note the curious absence of Washington, D.C. Why spare the U.S.
capitol? They think they'll need to keep it for peace negotiations (!).
Since they would target our population centers, I'm assuming we'd target at
least twice as many of theirs (6% of China's population equates to 88
million). Of course we would contact Moscow to let them know that no
missiles are coming their way:
Beijing nuked: https://tinyurl.com/yagl99ww
And that's just ONE W88 warhead out of 8-12 carried by each Trident missile,
twenty of which are on every Ohio-class boomer:

Surprise! 260 million people live in just 15 Chinese cities
Shanghai (34 million)
Guangzhou (25 million)
Beijing (24.9 million)
Shenzhen (23.3 million)
Wuhan (19 million)
Chengdu (18.1 million)
Chongqing (17 million)
Tianjin (15.4 million)
Hangzhou (13.4 million)
Xian (12.9 million)
Changzhou (12.4 million)
Shantou (12 million)
Nanjing (11.7 million)
Jinan (11 million)
Harbin (10.5 million)
Then there are the rest of their densely-populated "urban centers":
Dongguan
Shenyang
Guangzhou
Wenzhou
Xiamen
Qingdao
Suzhou
Changsha
Zhengzhou
Shijiazhuang
Taiyuan
Wuxi
Zibo
Kunming
Hefei
Changchun
Dalian
Tangshan
Ningbo
Fuzhou
Taizhou
Urumqi
Guiyang
Nanning
Plus there are some 360+ military/industrial targets not necessarily in
populated areas...
