AHC: Polish-Lithuanian-Hungarian-Bohemian Union lasting at least 200 years

I think different branches of the same Jagiellonian family ruled Poland-Lithuania and Bohemia-Hungary for a generation or so, but this did not become a personal union and did not last as the Habsburg's inherited Bohemia-Hungary.

How could we have mega-union of Poland-Lithuania-Bohemia-Hungary get established, and last at least 200 years, like Austria-Hungary?

What macro-effects would this have on the HRE, Sweden, Muscovy and the Ottoman Empire?

What about a different proposal--specifically, what about having the Central Powers win World War I and then having Austria-Hungary annex Lithuania and most or all of Congress Poland?

I mean, it's unlikely that Germany would agree to this. However, if Germany did agree to this, ...

With the speculations like that one should keep in mind that, with very few exception, the kings of the above-mentioned countries (in pre-Hapsburg period) had been just little bit more than the figureheads with a minimal power.
Adding more crowns would not make the whole monstrosity stronger because its parts would be independent from each other. The Commonwealth was a little bit different: it was created out of the personal union to help Lithuania against the Muscovite state (AND to transfer a huge chunk of a formerly Lithuanian territory to Poland and to give Polish nobility a right to settle in Lithuania). Neither Bohemia nor Hungary would be willing to agree to such a submission.

Actually, having the kings who were also kings of Bohemia made Hungary weaker: to placate Hungarian nobility they were rolling back what was done by Matthias Corvinus including disbanding of the regular army he created. And the fact that the clown like Louis II of Hungary also was a king of Bohemia did not help at Mohach: there were no Bohemian troops there.

Sigismund III was ruler of probably the biggest "state" in Europe but when he decided to expand it even more by claiming a vacant throne of Moscow, Sejm did not give him money. His wars against Sweden, while being for a while military successful, ended up with a loss of most of Livonia with Riga because Sejm would not give him money.

Jan Sobiessky wanted to conquer former Ducal Prussia but Sejm did not give him money and, with all military successes, the Commonwealth got out of the Great Ottoman War with a very little to show for its efforts: Sejm was reluctant to give money for the enterprise to which most of the nobility would not benefit.

The main difference between the monstrosity you described and what you called "Austro-Hungary" (Rob, just out of a plain curiosity, do you understand the difference between A-H, Austrian Empire and Hapsburg hereditary possessions with the HRE? :-)) is that most of the Hapsburg possessions were not ELECTIVE (Bohemia was, until they chose to elect someone who was not a Hapsburg). In Hungary they were declared (perhaps the 1st time in the Hungarian history) hereditary monarchs.
